Xavi Hernandez has admitted that being without Lionel Messi is a massive blow for Barcelona’s Liga title chances.
The Argentina international suffered a hamstring injury in the Blaugrana’s 4-1 defeat of Real Betis on Sunday and could be out of action until after the winter break.
The reigning champion still heads the Primera Division table by three points, but Xavi suspects that the club will need its star man back as soon as possible.
