Shocking CCTV footage (right) shows three-year-old Lucie Wilding stepping out of her front gate before she was knocked over and dragged face-down along the street by a cyclist speeding along on the pavement.
The incident happened outside the youngster's home in Blackpool, Lancashire. The cyclist (inset) fled the scene leaving Lucie with cuts to her face, head, hands and knees.
Her mother, Lauren Howarth, said: 'I thought she was dead. There was blood coming from everywhere. She was hysterical, screaming at the top of her lungs. I had to check she still had arms and legs because the speed she was taken was so quick and she'd just been flattened by this bike.' Police are set to question a man.
