Meek Mill Denies Nicki Minaj Engagement

Meek Mill's relationship with Nicki Minaj is hardly the focus of his new cover story for The Fader, but given that he's half of the most speculated-about coupling in the hip-hop world, he couldn't really get out of a cover story without talking about it.
And Mill made his few words on Minaj count, officially denying that he's engaged to her, despite that enormous ring from him she wore on her wedding ring finger back in April (and those comments Drake made, which seemed to nod to an engagement).

"It ain't really time to get married yet," Mill said. "We're still learning each other, feeling each other out." He did, however, say the relationship was "definitely real" and that the engagement reports fooled his own grandmother.

Perhaps moving forward, he'll buy Minaj somewhat smaller non-engagement rings for her to wear on her wedding ring finger.
