CONFIRMED – Real Madrid Starting XI Formation vs Bayern

The defending champions will face their toughest opponent in this season’s Champions League as Real Madrid host Bayern in the first leg of the semi final.

Bayern have had no pressure whatsoever before the tie as they sealed the Bundesliga title last month and must be well prepared for tonight’s contest.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in Real Madrid's starting lineup for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich this evening.

The Portuguese has missed the team's last four matches with a knee injury, but Gareth Bale drops to the bench after missing training with a flu-like illness earlier in the week.

Meanwhile, Bastian Schweinsteiger, who missed the second leg of the defending champion's quarter-final through suspension, returns, while Franck Ribery and Mario Mandzukic are also included.

The visitors have named a strong bench, with Thomas Muller and Mario Gotze among the substitutes.

Here is Real Madrid’s confirmed starting XI formation vs Bayern.

Real Madrid: Casillas, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Carvajal, Alonso, Modric, Di Maria, Ronaldo, Benzema, Isco
Subs: Lopez, Varane, Marcelo, Bale, Casemiro, Illarramendi, Morata

Bayern Munich: Meuer, Dante, Rafinha, Boateng, Alaba, Ribery, Robben, Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Mandzukic
