The FCT Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency arrested 64 suspected drug traffickers between January and March, a statement said in Abuja on Wednesday.
The statement by the Public Relations Officer of the agency, Mr Peter Adegbe, said the command also seized 2.5kg of various illicit drugs during the period.
It said the suspects were 61 males and three females.
The statement said the agency also seized 12 vehicles allegedly involved in the transportation of drugs and N184,720 suspected to be proceeds from illegal drug business.
It said the command also secured the conviction of 32 persons at Federal High Court, Abuja, and forfeiture of four vehicles and N52,970 in court.
The statement quoted the Commander of NDLEA in FCT, Mr Dennis Obiefule, as urging traffickers to give up the illegal business and embrace legitimate activities.
